Georges M. Halpern was born a French citizen, in Warsaw, Poland, and attended the Sorbonne, then the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Paris. In 1964, he received his M.D. degree. He subsequently qualified in Nuclear Medicine, and was board certified in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Allergy & Clinical Immunology.
Georges M. Halpern has published seventeen books, 56 book chapters, 138 original papers, and hundreds of reviews and abstracts. He has worked and/or lectured in 76 different countries.
